What others are saying about Bradini..

"Thank you so much for the great job you did for our Materials Supply Awards Banquet.  We had a record breaking crowd of over 250 people and you did a superb job of entertaining everyone.  All the comments received from the audience were very positive.  - Beebs Glynn, American Airlines

"What a Show!  You added a lot to our magic theme.  And our audiences enjoyed your talents.  Thank you for helping make our show a success."  - Deborah Whittaker, Oklahoma Jubilee

"Your performance was definitely a hit and the highlight of the evening.  The combination of walking through the cocktail hour and then a show after dinner worked perfectly.  Our guests enjoyed the one-on-one magic tricks and everyone was thoroughly entertained by your show.  The audience participation, the tricks, special effects and how you customized your performance to our audience was fantastic.  The guillotine was the ultimate trick and we believe that some of Morgen's subordinates at the Call Center were sorry they missed it.  Please know that we will definitely keep you in mind for future Tulsa Transit functions.  Thanks again Brad for helping make the first SoonerRide Celebration a Success!"  - Laurie Smith, Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority

"I was amazed at the way you captivated the audience with your humor while performing a magic act.  The reviews were 4 stars from all those in attendance!."
- Dana Calison, InfoMark Corporation

"It was a lot of fun. We received rave comments from more people than I can count."
- Mike Lang, Regatta chairman, National Multiple Sclerosis Society

"Your show was absolutely fantastic and I know we could not have been happier."

Look. Nothing up my sleeves. Watch as I turn a balloon into a dove. Abracadabra! It's magic!

The Tulsa City-County Library System's 1999 summer reading program, "Yippee Yi Yo! Join the Read Stampede" is in full gallop. Children age 12 and under can participate in the free program by signing up at any of the 23 TCCL locations and the bookmobile. Simply visit the library four times and read eight books by Aug. 7 to earn a medal of achievement, plus coupons for a free game of bowling and shoe rental provided by the Greater Tulsa Bowling Centers' Association; free admission to the Tulsa Zoo for "Sunset Safari;" and a free ice cream cone from Sonic Drive-In. Read a total of 20 books and earn a bonus prize -- a bright orange yo-yo.

To complement the program, hundreds of free events for preschoolers and children are planned at libraries throughout the summer. Featured performers include magician Brad Bradini" Evans, cowboy storyteller Sky Shivers and his trick dog Miss Kitty, storyteller Tyrone Wilkerson, Native American actor Will Hill and many others.

Children ages 5 to 12 who finish the summer reading program are eligible to enter the end-of-summer drawing. Donated prizes include: four computers with printers provided by the Tulsa World, QuikTrip Corporation, the Williams Companies Foundation and the Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation; six bicycles with helmets provided by Thrifty Car Rental with special thanks to T-Town Bicycle; 10 $100 savings bonds provided by Bank One; four $25 bookstore gift certificates provided by KJRH 2NBC; 48 children's authors card games provided by Thrifty; 24 disposable cameras provided by Target Stores; and four bowling parties for six at AMF Sheridan Lanes.

Teens ages 13 and older are invited to participate in TCCL's new young adult summer reading program called "Reading Rocks!"

"I'm really excited about the reading programs, especially since we're now offering one for young adults," said Rosemary Moran, coordinator of the summer reading programs. "Year after year parents have asked if we would offer a program for teens, and now we're finally doing it. It's great."

By visiting the library four times and reading four books, teens earn a CD provided by The Edge -- KMYZ 104.5 and a Koozie provided by the Tulsa Library Trust. They are also eligible to enter a drawing for a computer and printer provided by the Tulsa World, a mountain bike and helmet provided by Thrifty and a CD player.

Children and young adults may join the reading programs by visiting any TCCL location. For more information, visit your local library or call Moran at 596-7931.
