Here comes the Tulsa Zoo's ZooFari.
The fourth annual family-style fund-raiser patterned after Waltz
on the Wild Side will be held April 26 on the zoo grounds.
ZooFari committee co-chairwoman Jennifer Doyle said food
stations will be set up around the park, entertainment will be
by
Huffy the Clown & Friends, Bradini
the Magician, along with
costumed animals and a Mariachi band. Also expect to see to sea
lion demonstrations and live animal presentations, as well as
have
a chance to create some crafts in the art area.
This
is a great event and the kids always love it. Co-chairwoman
Robin Hinch said since tickets prices are less for members of
Tulsa
Zoo Friends, "this is an excellence opportunity to join the
organization and enjoy its benefits including the discounted
admission. "
Cost
for tickets for Zoo Friends members is $15 for adults and
$10 for children ages 3-13. All children age 2 years and under
are
admitted free of charge. Public ticket prices are $20 for adults
and $15 for children ages 3-13.
Proceeds go to ZooCare, the Zoo's, animal habitat improvement
program.

ZooCare provides funding for the renovation of existing animal
exhibits at the Tulsa Zoo. Past projects include the polar bear
habitat renovation currently under way, enlarging the tiger pool
and a new reptile nursery.
