Egg hunts, Easter fun planned for Saturday

Tulsa Parks and Recreation Department and K-Hits Radio will host the Fourth Annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday at Hunter Park on 91st Street between Yale Avenue and Sheridan Road.
The event is free but participants must obtain a family ticket at any YMCA of Greater Tulsa location or the Wild Oats Market, 41st Street and Peoria Avenue.
Registration for the egg hunts is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The first 50 children to register will receive a free brunch with the K- HITS Easter Bunny, provided by Supercuts.
Egg hunts will begin at 1:30 p.m. for ages toddler-2; 2:15 p.m. for ages 3-5; 3 p.m. for ages 6-8, and 3:30 p.m. for ages 9-12.
Additional entertainment will be provided by The Amazing Bradini, Hornsby from the Tulsa Drillers, Buddy the Bookworm from the Tulsa City- County Library System, and Sparky the Squirrel from the Tulsa Parks and Recreation Department.
In addition, there will be free face painting for the children, and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department will offer free fingerprinting. Animals from Safari’s mobile petting zoo will also be present along with adoptable pets from the Animal Rescue Foundation.
YMCA locations include 515 S. Denver Ave., 1120 E. Pine St., 5002 S. Fulton Ave., 5400 S. Olympia and in Owasso between 76th Street North and 86th Street North on the west side of U.S. 169.
Sand Springs will also offer a free Spring Egg Hunt from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at River City Park. To register, call Jamie at 246-2561.
