Party to Benefit Zoo April 18

The Tulsa Zoo is planning a party to raise money for improvements to animal habitats. The fifth annual ZooFari is scheduled for April 18 at the zoo. Bradini the Magician, Cameron the Caterpillar, the Sunshine Generation, and Mariachi Tulsa will provide the entertainment.

Other activities include a sea lion presentation, Animal Encounters presentations, arts and crafts activities and face painting by the Hands-On Children’s Museum. Restaurants including Outback Steakhouse, Blue Moon Bakery, Chili’s, Rex’s Chicken, Shoney’s, Mazzio’s, Taco Bell and Subway will provide food.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 3-13. Admission for members of Tulsa Zoo Friends is $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-13. Children 2 and under are admitted free. The proceeds will go to Zoo Care, which funds the renovation of animal exhibits at the zoo. To make reservations, call 669-6606.
